Epicharis was born in 2014. He is by Gold Allure out of Stapes Mitsuko by Carnegie.
Epicharis won his first two races respectively by six and seven lengths, and captured the Listed (Jpn3) Hokkaido Nisai Yushun by 2.4 seconds. At 3, he took the Listed Hyacinth Stakes and finished close 2nd to subsequent Dubai World Cup victor Thunder Snow in the Group 2 UAE Derby. He is a half-brother to Meisho Naruto, who won the Grade 3 Tanabata Sho and the Grade 3 Kokura Kinen.
Epicharis entered stud in Japan in 2020. His first crop hit the track in 2023. He has sired some good winners including Saint Honore, who won the Jpn2 Keihin Hai and finished 3rd in the Listed (Jpn1) Zen-Nippon Nisai Yushun; Magic Seven; and Definitivo.
