Henny Hughes captured his first Grade 1 win in the seven-furlong King's Bishop Stakes by more than five lengths and then went on to win the Grade 1 Vosburgh Stakes while setting a stakes record of 1:08.13 for six furlongs on dirt.
Henny Hughes entered stud in the U.S.A. in 2007 and moved to Japan for the 2014 season. In 2024, Tagano Beauty captured the Listed (Jpn1) JBC Sprint and Amante Bianco won the Jpn 1 Haneda Hai.
Among his other best progeny are Beholder, who won 11 Grade 1 races including the Breeders' Cup Distaff (twice); Moanin, who captured the Grade 1 February Stakes; and Asia Express, who won the Group 1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes and was awarded Best Two-Year-Old Colt in Japan.
