Sakura Bakushin O was awarded Best Sprinter or Miler in Japan in 1994. Sakura Bakushin O dominated the sprint division and made it back-to-back wins in the Sprinters Stakes. He registered 11 wins in 12 starts over 1400 meters or less.
Sakura Bakushin O entered stud in Japan in 1995. Among his best progeny are NHK Mile Cup winner Grand Prix Boss, and Takamatsunomiya Kinen winners Shonan Kampf and Big Arthur.
Sakura Bakushin O died in 2011 at the age of 22.
