Danon the Kid was awarded Best Two-Year-Old Colt in Japan in 2020. By Group 1 Dubai Duty Free winner and 2014 world's highest-rated horse Just a Way, Danon the Kid was unbeaten as a juvenile in three starts with victories in the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes and the Grade 3 Tokyo Sports Hai Nisai Stakes. He also placed four times in Grade/Group 1 company, including consecutive second-place finishes in the Grade 1 Mile Championship and the Group 1 Hong Kong Cup.
