Cheval Grand, a half-brother to the Grade 1 Victoria Mile winner Verxina and the Group 1 Dubai Turf winner Vivlos, won the Grade 1 Japan Cup overtaking the Japanese Derby winner Rey de Oro and two-time Japanese Horse of the Year Kitasan Black. He also took the Grade 2 Hanshin Daishoten and the Grade 2 Copa Republica Argentina.
Cheval Grand entered stud in Japan in 2020. His first foals are 2-year-olds of 2023.
