Mr Melody earned his first graded stakes victory in the Grade 3 Falcon Stakes at 3 and captured the Grade 1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at 4. He is a son of late successful sire Scat Daddy, who sired multiple Grade or Group 1 winners including American Triple Crown winner Justify and Group 1 Prix Morny winner No Nay Never.
Mr Melody entered stud in Japan in 2021. His first crop hit the track in 2024. He has sired some good winners including Craspedia, who won the Listed Crocus Stakes and finished 2nd in the Grade 3 Kokura Nisai Stakes and the Grade 3 Aoi Stakes; Sourire Mignon; and On the Blue Sky.
