Brian's Time won the Grade 1 Florida Derby and the Grade 1 Pegasus Handicap. He also finished 2nd in the Grade 1 Preakness Stakes and 3rd in the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes.
Brian's Time entered stud in Japan in 1990. Among his best progeny are Japanese Triple Crown winner and Horse of the Year Narita Brian, Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) and Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas) winner Sunny Brian, Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) winner Tanino Gimlet, and Japanese Horse of the Year, Arima Kinen (Grand Prix) and Kikuka Sho (Japanese St. Leger) winner Mayano Top Gun.
He died in 2013 at the age of 28.
