He won the Grade 3 CBC Sho, defeating subsequent Grade 1 Sprinters Stakes winner Pixie Knight, in a Japanese record time of 1:06.0 over 1200m on turf at Kokura. He also showed great longevity and versatility by winning the Grade 1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen over heavy ground at 7.
