He is by Japanese Derby winner and Japanese Champion Sire King Kamehameha and out of Horse of the Year in Japan Air Groove. In addition to that, his half-sister Admire Groove was crowned Best Older Mare in Japan in 2004 and is the dam of Japanese Derby victor Duramente.
Rulership entered stud in Japan in 2013. In 2022, Dolce More captured the Grade 1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes and was awarded Best Two-Year-Old Colt in Japan.
