Although he won five graded races in Japan including the Grade 2 Spring Stakes and Grade 2 Nakayama Kinen (twice), he especially shined in Hong Kong when winning the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup in course-record time of 1:58.81 for 2000 meters on turf, defeating subsequent Hong Kong Horse of the Year Exultant and Japanese Horse of the Year Lys Gracieux, and the Group 1 Hong Kong Cup with Group 1 winner Magic Wand finishing 2nd.
