King Halo was born in 1995. He is by Dancing Brave out of Goodbye Halo by Halo.
King Halo is a exceptionally well-bred horse. His sire Dancing Brave is a European Horse of the Year and his dam Goodbye Halo is a seven times Grade 1 winner in the U.S.A. He scored a come-from-behind victory in the Takamatsunomiya Kinen at 5.
King Halo entered stud in Japan in 2001. Among his best progeny are Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks) and Shuka Sho winner Kawakami Princess, Takamatsunomiya Kinen and Sprinters Stakes winner Laurel Guerreiro, JBC Ladies Classic winner Medeia, and NAR Horse of the Year Kitasan Mikazuki.
King Halo died in 2019 at the age of 24.
