Gold Dream was born in 2013. He is by Gold Allure out of Mon Vert by French Deputy.
Gold Dream was awarded Best Dirt Horse in Japan in 2017.
With a strong late kick, Gold Dream captured the Grade 1 February Stakes and the Grade 1 Champions Cup in 2017, becoming only the third horse to win both races in the same year. He added three Jpn1 victories to his glorious record, winning the Teio Sho in 2018 and the Kashiwa Kinen (twice in 2018 and 2019).
Gold Dream entered stud in Japan in 2021. His first crop hit the track in 2024. He has sired some good winners, including Gran Giorno, who finished 2nd in the Listed (Jpn3) JBC Nisai Yushun; Janadriyah, who won the Jpn3 Kumotori Sho and finished 3rd in the Jpn1 Haneda Hai; and Hanauma Beach.
