Real Impact was born in 2008. He is by Deep Impact out of Tokio Reality by Meadowlake.
Real Impact is a two-time Grade/Group 1 winning miler. He became the first 3-year-old to win the Grade 1 Yasuda Kinen. He also scored in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes by beating the Australian Derby and subsequent Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner Criterion at 7. He is a half-brother to the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup winner Neorealism and the Grade 3 Ocean stakes winner I'll Love Again.
Real Impact entered stud in Japan in 2016. His first crop hit the track in 2019. His first crop son Lauda Sion won the Grade 1 NHK Mile Cup in 2019 and the Grade 2 Keio Hai Spring Cup in 2021.
Among his other best progeny are Count De Rupee, who won the Group 2 Victory Stakes and finshed 2nd in the Golden Eagle; Lunar Impact, who won the Group 3 Western Australian Oaks; and Sky Lab, who finished 2nd in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas.
