Stelvio was born in 2015. He is by Lord Kanaloa out of L'Archetto by Falbrav.
Stelvio, by Japanese Horse of the Year and proven sire Lord Kanaloa, unleashed a quick turn of foot to win the Grade 1 Mile Championship, edging the defending winner Persian Knight at 3. He also won the Grade 2 Spring Stakes at 3 and finished 2nd five times in graded company, including the Grade 1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes at 2.
Stelvio entered stud in Japan in 2023. His first foals are yearlings of 2025.
