Swept Overboard is a son of proven sire End Sweep, who sired Japan Cup hero Admire Moon. He was a top sprinter in the U.S.A. and won four sprint graded stakes, including the Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap and the Grade 1 Ancient Title Handicap.
Swept Overboard entered stud in Japan in 2003. Among his best progeny are back-to-back Sprinters Stakes winner Red Falx, four-time Tokyo Daishoten winner Omega Perfume.
Swept Overboard died in 2017 at the age of 20.
