Admire Moon was awarded Horse of the Year and Best Older Horse in Japan in 2007. He won the Group 1 Dubai Duty Free, the Grade 1 Takarazuka Kinen, and the Grade 1 Japan Cup at 4.
Admire Moon entered stud in Japan in 2008. He has sired some good winners including Fine Needle, who became just the fifth horse to win both of the Japanese Grade 1 sprints in a calendar year by landing the Grade 1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen in spring and the Grade 1 Sprinters Stakes in autumn; and Seiun Kosei, who captured the Grade 1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen.
Among his other best progeny are Grade 2 winners Moonquake, Hakusan Moon, and Leo Active.
