Satono Aladdin, a full-brother to Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup winner Lachesis, showed an amazing turn of foot to win the Grade 1 Yasuda Kinen. He caught the defending champion Logotype at the wire, flying over the final 600 meters in 33.5 seconds in the race. He also won the Grade 2 Swan Stakes and the Grade 2 Keio Hai Spring Cup, unleashing an explosive burst of speed.

In 2023, his first crop daughter Pennyweka showed superior stamina to complete a rare Group 1 New Zealand Oaks and Group 1 Australian Oaks double.
