Satono Aladdin was born in 2011. He is by Deep Impact out of Magic Storm by Storm Cat.
Satono Aladdin, a full-brother to Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup winner Lachesis, showed an amazing turn of foot to win the Grade 1 Yasuda Kinen. He caught the defending champion Logotype at the wire, flying over the final 600 meters in 33.5 seconds in the race. He also won the Grade 2 Swan Stakes and the Grade 2 Keio Hai Spring Cup, unleashing an explosive burst of speed.
Satono Aladdin entered stud in Japan in 2018. In 2023, his first crop daughter Pennyweka showed superior stamina to complete a rare Group 1 New Zealand Oaks and Group 1 Australian Oaks double.
Among his other best progeny are Lantern Way, who won the Group 2 Hawke's Bay Guineas in New Zealand; Too Sweet, who won the Group 2 Eclipse Stakes in New Zealand; Sacred Satono, who won the Group 3 Bonecrusher Stakes and the Group 3 Counties Bowl in New Zealand; and Tokyo Tycoon, who won the Group 3 Matamata Slipper Stakes in New Zealand.
He was crowned Champion Two-Year-Old Sire in New Zealand in the 2022/2023 racing season.
