Danon Ballade was born in 2008. He is by Deep Impact out of Lady Ballade by Unbridled.
Danon Ballade, from the family of Devil's Bag and Singspiel, won the Grade 3 Radio Nikkei Hai Nisai Stakes at 2 and became the first graded stakes winner for his sire Deep Impact. At 5 he gained another graded stakes victory in the Grade 2 American Jockey Club Cup, and finished 2nd in the Grade 1 Takarazuka Kinen beating Japanese Horse of the Year Gentildonna.
Danon Ballade entered stud in Japan in 2015. He stood at stud in Italy in 2017 and in Britain in 2018, and then moved back to Japan for the 2019 season.
His first crop hit the track in 2018. He has sired some good winners including Lord Bless, who won the Listed (Jpn2) Nippon TV Hai; Naimama, who finished 2nd in the Grade 3 Sapporo Nisai Stakes; and Win Tafel, who finished 2nd in the Listed (Jpn3) Hokkaido Nisai Yushun.
