Jun Light Bolt, by Japanese Derby winner and Japanese Champion Sire King Kamehameha and a descendant of Japanese Horse of the Year Air Groove, displayed an explosive stretch rally to capture the Grade 1 Champions Cup, edging UAE Derby winner Crown Pride. He also won the Grade 3 Sirius Stakes before the Grade 1 victory.
