Salios, by brilliant versatile sire Heart's Cry and out of German Oaks winner Salomina, was undefeated in three starts at 2, punctuated by the victories in the Grade 1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes in a race record time and the Grade 3 Saudi Arabia Royal Cup in a 2yo course record time. He added a graded race victory in the Grade 2 Mainichi Okan at 3 and captured the race again in a course record time at 5. He also finished 2nd to Japanese Triple Crown winner Contrail in the Grade 1 Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) and the Grade 1 Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas) at 3.
Salios entered stud in Japan in 2023. His first foals are 2-year-olds of 2026.
