He set another Japanese record time of 1:08.5 over 1200 meters on dirt at Morioka when he landed the Listed (Jpn3) Cluster Cup. He also showed a burst of speed outside Japan and finished 2nd in the Group 1 Dubai Golden Shaheen, Riyadh Dirt Sprint, and Saudia Cup.
