Strong Return came from off the pace to capture the Grade 1 Yasuda Kinen in a Japanese record time of 1:31.3 over 1600m at 6, registering his first Grade 1 title. He also won the Grade 2 Keio Hai Spring Cup at 5 with a sparkling late run.
Strong Return entered stud in Japan in 2014. He has sired some good winners including Prince Return, who won the Listed Port Island Stakes and finished 2nd in the Grade 3 Shinzan Kinen; and Tsuzumimon, who finished 2nd to Almond Eye in the Grade 3 Shinzan Kinen.
